22 Nov 2009 Sr. High at Tent City

Six Sr. High youth and four adults (3 Sr. High leaders & 1 parent) went to Bellevue First United Methodist Church to serve dinner for the residents of Tent City 4. We prepared the meal in the kitchen at BFUMC and served 24 Costco pizza's, 9 pounds of salad and 300 homemade cookies that were baked by our Y-FI Group. We served the meal outside in a tarped canopy area. Approximately 75 residents enjoyed the meal & were very appreciative. Our group was also able to eat and visit with some of the folks.
